This is my main channel, where I mostly post weird comedy videos, both scripted and improvised. On this channel, you can find anything from sketches to standup comedy to a documentary to school projects to noise music to animation an improvised movie I made. I don't stick to a certain type of video, as I like to do whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like it.

The creation of this channel starts like many things, with the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020. I had a spring break turn into a 5-month summer break that led to a period of lots of boredom. Since I had little else to do, I fell deep into YouTube, watching it much more than I had in the past. I fell in love with classic YouTube comedy channels, as well as contemporary commentary videos. Channels like TomSka, Rhett & Link, Jacksfilms, Danny Gonzalez, and Scott The Woz. Seeing how many of these people were hilariously funny and also did stuff in their own houses without any crazy setups inspired me to get into video making of my own. So one day in late October, I'm taking a walk around my yard when I get an idea for a sketch in my head based around the phrase "fire at will". I write a short script and film myself in my bedroom, and edit it in Imovie. So now I have my very first video, but I have a problem (aside from the video being bad). I don't have a YouTube channel. Since I'm technically to young to start one, I send it to my friend, who posts it on their channel. However, I don't want to keep doing this, so I ask my parents if I can make a YouTube channel, and they say yes. So on November 8th, 2020. Toast Sandwich is born. I named it that because I was hungry, and that was a food I was eating a lot of at the time. Unfortunately, this was kind of a bad name, since there are not only many other channels with this name, but also a real British food that makes my channel hard to search for. Additionally, the handle @ToastSandwich was taken, and so I have to go by @ToesSandwich. (Although that happened years later as handles didn't exist on YouTube in 2020.) From here, I continued to refine my craft and get actually good at videos. In 2024, I set myself a challenge to make one Youtube video a week, which I succeeded in doing, but after it was over, I was both exhausted, and busy at work on The Schmusical. This took up most of my creative free time until recently, which is the reason for the decrease in posting on Toast Sandwich. However, now that I'm done with the Schmusical, I have lots of ideas for creative projects that I would like to work on next, and most of them are bigger projects that take more time to complete, which means that posting on Toast Sandwich will likely remain less active for the foreseeable future. But this doesn't mean that the channel is abandoned, it just means that whenever I post it will more likely be a bigger project with more substance than a 3 minute comedy sketch. But not entirely. I have some really good sketch ideas I need to get around to doing.
