In 2023, I was joking with Leah about how I was going to make her an album for Christmas. Then I actually did. The result was The Leah McKay Super Friendship Album, a very so-bad-it's-good album that was made with very little prior music experience. Being my first real musical attempt, I don't think it's all that great, and wouldn't really recommend that you listen to it if you want good music, but if you want really stupid, amateur, goofy music where very occasionally potential shines through, go right ahead. However, as much as I critique this album, I wouldn't be where I am on my music journey without it, so I still hold a deal of appreciation for it. Also Hey 'Rona still kinda goes hard.
In 2025, I released THE LEAH MCKAY SUPER FRIENDSHIP ALBUM 2! After making the first album for Leah, I really started to enjoy making music, and eventually I came up with song ideas that I thought would fit perfectly on another album for Leah. However, this time I wanted to really out-do myself in every way. The last album had 8 tracks, so this one will have 10. I didn't do the instrumentals for most of the tracks on the last album, so I will for this one. I gave the album to Leah on a CD last time, so I'll press this one onto vinyl for $50. All in all, I think I made a much better album that I am still very pleased with.
In 2026, The Schmusical, my most ambitious project, music or otherwise, was released. It features 12 songs with 3 extra bonus tracks that include some score bits I wrote and an alternate version of one of the songs. I wrote most of the instrumentals and lyrics, Leah wrote/produced her verse on We're The Schmus, wrote Cranial Damage and None To Speak of, and Levi wrote his verse on We're The Schmus. This album took 2 years to put together, which is much longer than the month or two I took for my previous albums, and I think you can really tell.
